1001 Jigsaw: Earth Chronicles 2

This is one of 52 games in 8floor's "1001 Jigsaw" series that are basically a copy/pasted slop fest. Every game is nigh identical, with the only difference being the images used to create the jigsaw puzzles, all of which have been lifted without crediting the artists from various sites such as rgbstock, Unsplash and even Shutterstock. While technically not illegal, it's incredibly inconsiderate considering that these "games" wouldn't be anything without the images these artists provide. From a technical standpoint the game meets the absolute basics in terms of UI and mechanics. The looping music will make you irritated rather than relaxed, but the most frustrating element is that the cursor is misaligned in almost every game, resulting in numerous misclicks. I was also immensely disappointed by the lack of a single jigsaw puzzle with 1001 pieces in ANY of these games. "1001 Jigsaw: Earth Chronicles 2" is a basic browser/Flash/mobile-app like jigsaw puzzle game. Solve various jigsaw puzzles made up from images that the "developer" stole off the Internet and used without crediting the actual creators, making this plagiarism, as well as an asset flip and a cash grab. Sure, the image rights may allow some stock images to be used without credit (although there's no reason to believe so in this case), and claiming credit for the work of others, as is happening here, is unethical, and the creative and intellectual bankruptcy going on here is unacceptable. So what we have here is a basic jigsaw puzzle engine that's been skinned with a bunch of photos stolen off the internet and used without attribution. This publisher 8floor managed to arranged 1 card game and then copy-paste it with different sfx, wallpapers and made 200+ games.

Although this jigsaw puzzle game has some nice features (sorting borders or quadrants, changing number and shape of pieces, ghost image, snap together & snap to table (optional)), it also has some shortcomings (along with most if not all jigsaw puzzle games) on Steam that I have played: o no indication of jigsaw puzzles already completed o no gallery to view full size completed pictures o returns to category 1 page 1 after completing any puzzle in any category If those shortcomings are not a drawback, then this game may be for you but for me they are a definite turnoff.

More than a thousand beautiful vibrant puzzle photos, no annoying ads, no in app purchases, relaxing beautiful music, you can costumize how many piece of puzzle so its for good casual and hardcore gamers. its a great casual game.
