[b]Note:[/b] A wonderful friend gifted me a copy of this game. ^^ [i]Heart & Soul[/i] is an otome visual novel developed and published by GSE Studios. You take on the role of Psyche, a princess from the Greek myth who is renowned so much for her beauty that the people call her their earthly Aphrodite. For anyone who is familiar with Greek mythology, this visual novel is based off of the story of Psyche although there are many endings here. As one can imagine, Aphrodite is not pleased by this, especially since the people stop paying attention to her and only praise Psyche, putting her on a pedestal. Therefore, Aphrodite has a plan to put an end to Psyche by forcing her to marry a monster (but the monster will end up killing her). However, just as Psyche is left to her fate, a mysterious savior swoops in to save her. Next thing she knows, Psyche finds herself in a beautiful castle and then later, she meets the being who saved her, proclaiming to be her husband. Psyche is left in the dark, though, as to the identity of her husband, and she's only temporarily safe, as Aphrodite is still after her. An amazing Visual novel the story is compelling and the game play you have to think very strategically is also fun. I have played many visual novels and this one is very high up on my list of recommendations! Any other visual novels this studio releases you can bet that I will be playing them!

It's a pretty nice story that's a little bit unconventional. The stat building is a bit strict if you want the history ending, but it makes sense in that context. The art is generally good too. I would recommend, although the playtime isn't super long for the price so waiting for a sale would be understandable.

Cute game, if you like the myth of Eros and Psyche you will likely enjoy this. The game is pretty true to the story with very little wiggle room, so don't expect to tell your evil sisters to get lost.

I love this game! I managed to get the best ending on my first try and I'm so excited to see what other endings there are! (Even the bad ones) I'm pretty familiar with the mythology behind this and I'd say it's pretty accurate. Such a unique concept for a game, I'd love to see more fun takes on mythology like this!

Good game, but the endings are hard to get and or you cannot change them easily. I took 2 hours to get one ending due to the favors. Needs quality of life update.
