Bioysque

Oh boy oh boy i kept checking Arkhouse steam page like every month or two in hope of seeing a new game and here it is. The protagonist immediately reminds me of Adol Christin and it's a pleasant surprise to see one of the inspirations is indeed the Ys series. The vibe is excellent as always and I rather enjoyed the point & click combat (though the hurtbox on normal enemies could be a bit bigger). As other reviews have mentioned Bioysque is also his most accessible game yet so this might be a good entry if you want to get into the Arkhouse rabbit hole.

As with all Arkhouse Telegraph games, it has chunky sprites, weird controls, bizarre worldbuilding and a generally unclear direction - but its heart is in the right place, and you'll never play something else like AT games.

Wormie the Dude is awesome

I would say "Arkhouse delivers again!" but to be entirely honest this is my first game made by this wonder of a developer I have been following them for a while now but never acutally played a game of theirs until this. I saw Astlibra being one of the inspiration (I do feel it) and had to finally dive into their universe. Cant say I am disappointed I really liked it. The weirdness of it is so endearing. Expect me to buy more of games from Arkhouse.

More people should play Arkhouse Games. I just pray that Arkhouse finds a collaborator who speaks English and wants to create the perfect game with them together. Aside from the immersion breaking translation, I always find it refreshing to play a game that was meant to be art first and formost.
