Had potential but I think the dev robbed us, took the money and left: updates are non-existent and if they do come they are mostly minor things just to bump the last-update messages. In its current state, it is unfinished, shallow and unplayable; definitely had potential, definitely doesn't deserve to be called a successor to Capitalism

Don't get me wrong, the game is fine. I picked it up on sale, and it scratched the itch for a bit. My main problem with it is that it's abandoned seemingly. I wanted more from a full release. I hope the developer picks it up and patches it or at least takes it out of EA and reduces the price accordingly.

The premise of this game is that you're CEO of a corporation, and you need to build farms, factories, and stores, and manage supply chains. While the premise sounds promising, I feel like this game needs more polish. First off, the tutorial is poorly structured. It's split into four separate sections that don't connect together, and you can't continue playing after finishing the tutorial to experiment. It would be much better as one cohesive tutorial that shows how systems work together. The tutorial also doesn't explain many other features that are visible in the side menu. For example, I wanted to make beer, which needs barley and aluminum. I set up the aluminum and it worked fine, but the barley farm just said 'waiting' with no explanation. The tutorial covered farming animals but not crops. Is it different? Am I missing something? Turns out I was just impatient, but it took 2 in-game years for it to start producing, and the game didn't explain anything. Secondly, the UI is a bit clunky, giving me Windows 98 vibes, with icons that look like temporary assets. There are a lot of windows, numbers, charts, sliders. Fun in the beginning, but as the game keeps going the amount of micromanagement rises. Some QoL additions would be needed to alliviate late game micromanagement.

It's stable and plays well. It needs some more work on patents and such, and I know the developer hasn't touched the game in quite some time, but if it goes on discount it's worth buying. I didn't run into any major bugs or anything during a 5 hour multiplayer run. The AI is silly sometimes, but it's competent enough. If you're looking for a Capitalism / Capitalism II successor, this is pretty close, though I say that as someone who hasn't played either in quite some time.

The developer(s) is(are) frauds. Dont buy this piece of crap.
