Paws Coven

Paws Coven is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game that takes a bizarre concept and fully commits to it in a way that becomes both hilarious and surprisingly tense. Developed and published by Wintercrow Games, the game revolves around a supernatural cult made entirely of cats attempting to summon eldritch horrors while a lone human tries to uncover the conspiracy before reality completely collapses. What initially sounds like a joke quickly turns into a genuinely entertaining multiplayer experience built around deception, paranoia, stealth, and chaotic psychological horror. Rather than trying to imitate more serious asymmetrical horror games directly, Paws Coven embraces absurdity while still maintaining enough tension and strategy to keep matches exciting. The gameplay follows a 3v1 structure where three players secretly control cultist cats and one player takes the role of the human homeowner trapped inside the increasingly cursed environment. The cats must gather dark energy, sabotage the house, perform rituals, and eventually summon horrifying creatures capable of overwhelming the human. It's not good. The gameplay and back and forth between the hunter/cats is bad and confusing for both sides. The models are uninspired and ugly. The sound design is ALL over the place, things that should make distinct sounds don't (like starting the ritual). Idk it seems like just an all around bad spinoff of prop hunt.

Such a sleeper game! Its tough to figure out what's going on if you don't do the tutorial, so I recommend doing that, but its gameplay isn't too complicated. It was perfect game for me and my streamer friends to collab together with!
