Legendary Pilots

Ok, this is just a brainrot phone game. It's ridiculous they are actually asking money for this. The game is so repetitive it gets boring in the first 30 minutes. The planes all handle the same - like paper planes. But, at least, there's no wind. Or real atmospheric conditions. And the first officer and crew always say the same 3 phrases. Ah, the navigation is brain dead. So, where is the game? Again, I can't imagine someone putting together this thing and actually asking money for it.

Visually very pleasant, but too limited in terms of mechanics or the core loop to be satisfying enough to justify the price of admission. I'd cut it more slack if it was in Early Access and the developers planned to add more content, but it isn't.

It's like a demo of a concept of a game. Highly repetetive and missing a lot of game play mechanics to make it fun. I Love the retro aesthetic but I'd prefer a proper CRT style shader over the current pixel grid that cannot be turned off.

Lovely music, nice learning curve. After playing just 2 hours on launch day, I pretty much saw everything the game had to offer. You just have to own 3 planes and your income will exponentially grow to the point you can buy everything in the game in less than 10 hours. However, I play it mostly on ROG XBOX Ally X, and it runs super smoothly as it is fairly well-optimized even for handhelds. Controls are responsive and, despite being simple, it is actually enjoyable. I would like to see some future changes to the in-flight component failures, as once you have them, there is no option whatsoever to survive. The landing sweet spot is all over the place—sometimes you are aligned, flaps, gear, and speed are all optimal, and you fail. Sometimes you approach at max speed, hot landing, and nothing happens so you manage to park it. Got some map clipping on the mountains from time to time as well. But overall, I recommend this game—it's cheap, and coming from a small studio, already had a really good big update after launch. Less Bugs than MSFS2024. I like it. I hope it gets more content in the future.
