Slave Lord: Elven Conquest

I've been a big fan of Pink Tea for years and years now, so I was delighted to see their games go from free on Newgrounds to Steam! If you are familiar with them from Newgrounds, then this game will feel familiar to you. There isn't a ton in the way of actual game play (mostly just key choices here and there), but there is a wide variety of smut from bondage to tentacles to all different positions. Definitely a 'smut first; story secondary' experience. There are a couple major endings and a few key decisions throughout, but once you've beaten the game you get access to all scenes for all choices. It isn't a long game either - it took me four hours to get 100% completion on two play throughs. Pretty fair for its price, and a pleasant experience.

Someone asked me today "what makes a good naughty game" to which I replied “agency, being able to engage with the naughty aspects in the way that you want, or if it is more focused on the narrative, compelling plot and characters”. This game does not aim for the latter, but it does not do a great job with the former either. There is a basic morality system with pain/degradation in one spectrum and pleasure/praise in the other… still forces you to have moments where your character is low-brow and crass (overall, dialogue is very poor /the junk-food of the porn category). BUT it gets worse. Choosing to be kind/praise path with one elf forces that character’s story into pain/degradation and vice versa. Spitting on the player’s agency in choosing the kind of path they want to go down. Add on top of that, odd stylistic choices, where your character is described as clearly demonic and in one fight showed as a red demon, but during the majority gets switched to a basic Caucasian, human model… Again, there is nothing awful about the game, and I would not say to avoid it if you are interested, but I would not recommend using your time on it.

What you see is what you get. If you like the trailer, then you'll probably like the game. There's maybe 30 scenes, all with similar quality art, animation, and uhh...voice acting? (It's really just moaning, etc.) It mostly revolves around the 2 elf girls and their training/corruption plotline, but there are some minor sideplots/characters which make up about a third of the scenes (some still involving one of the elf girls, but mostly not). The writing is adequate. The scenes are pretty hot, and mostly standard porn/hentai/BDSM stuff. They're also mostly nonconsensual. It's not super long, but I think the scenes are high enough quality and plentiful enough to justify the price, especially if you're really into elves, corruption/training, and/or noncon. Oh, and there's a cheat option, where you can just select the "ending" (really just the girls' dispositions/relationship), and then (like normal at the end of the game) you're free to replay any scenes that led up to that ending, though I do suggest playing it through once first.
