Secret Psychology is a adult visual novel where you play as a psychology graduate who chooses not to work with his professor and instead opens a private practice. Soon, he finds himself working with a variety of female patients, each with her own backstory, secrets, and hidden desires. Through hypnosis, he helps them… let’s just say, open up. Like other games from this developer, the art style is pleasing to the eye. The animations and the girls are nice, but the mini-games are too boring. Mini-games are easily the weakest part of the game. They feel tedious and serve more as a barrier between players and the story rather than an enjoyable gameplay mechanic. They seem more like filler than a engaging part of the experience. You can skip the mini-games if you are not interested, which is a useful feature for players who want to enjoy the story and scenes. However, if you skip a mini-game, you will only get 1 star, which negatively impacts your achievements progress. So, if you want to unlock all the achievements, you will have to endure it a bit.
