Tiny Tales: Hidden Objects

WARNING: Not for small children, some pretty graphic violence in some of the scenes. First impressions are solid. It is a nice three D find the differences game, with really interesting tableaus and solid controls. Two odd little peeves, first it does not have a feature I really like in a spot the differences game, a cursor in the side your arrow isn't in to compare, and second one side is bigger than the other, very weird. The puzzles can get kind of hard, but the game has an interesting clue mechanism. It removes a bunch of the details that do not have the change in it, so you still have to find it, but in a reduced area. All in all, very impressive, will certainly play some more. Two thumbs up. ADDENDUM: Finished all the levels (twenty) on the easiest level in an hour and half. There are three levels of difficult, and I will keep playing. That's a decent amount of gamer play already though, and one of the better HOG games I have played. ADDENDUM: 7.4 hours start to finish,, though I cheated to find most of the miscellaneous imagines.. Really fun.

I found this game to be pretty middle of the road with a few too many annoyances. The controls are pretty bad for a game where you need to move the landscape to see differences. Some of the differences are so comically unsubstantial that you may struggle to see the difference in them at all. The hint system is basically required on some levels because of this. I also don't really understand the thought process behind the random item achievements. There is no real way to know where to look for them and they don't even do anything special or cool when you find them. Not terrible by any means, but like a 4/10. Just found it too frustrating sometimes

Just bought this game for 69 cents during the summer sale. Fun game if you like hidden objects. There are 20 level with 3, 5, 7 hidden objects. You really can't go wrong for this price point. No crashes or glitches while i played.

Find the differences between two scenes, always a classic. Some very unique scenes, enjoyable exploring what's going on in each of them. I did find the controls frustratingly slow to move around the scene, almost frustrating enough to not recommend it. This made the game much more of a chore, especially when trying to enjoy the game on the TV with a controller with my family. I would have enjoyed the game more had I been made aware to seek out particular hidden items (see the achievements list) in addition to the actual level goals. Maybe I missed the information? Overall, this becomes a light recommendation.

The soundtrack gets repetitive, and pausing and continuing erases your progress in that level for some reason, but other than that the game's fine. You get your money's worth for 99¢.
