Minibots TD

Bloons TD?
No, it’s obviously not Bloons TD. I haven’t played a lot of these tower defense games (except Bloons, obviously) so this genre is a bit new to me. But I am pretty sure anyone would understand how a TD game works. It’s mostly focused on the strategic placement of the defense units and upgrading them. Anyways, let’s just jump into the review.
About This Game

Storyline
The game doesn’t really have a proper plot. There aren't any narrations of any sort which makes the game’s lack of a story pretty evident. But they did mention that the enemy units go by the title “Kaids” and they are trying to seize control of your city. But I didn’t see any traces of this story in the actual game itself, I read whatever I just mentioned from the game’s Steam Store Page. So, I guess it’s safe to say that this game doesn’t follow a storyline of any sort.
Gameplay Mechanics
I’ve been writing a lot of codes in C# that I mix coding when typing/talking in English. Let’s hope I do not make the same mistake here. Anyways, let’s not get sidetracked. Lemme just list the game mechanics here:

The main mechanic is the user’s…

TLDR: Want just a Gameplay Video? Its at the bottom of the review. This review might seem a little mean, but I see very good potential for this game and I say these things in hopes the Developer will take notice and fix/update them. So if the developer is reading this I will say the kind words first to soften my criticism blow: Developer(s), I feel you have a good TD under you so far. With the rough ideas in place with it being early access the game truly does show promise. I enjoyed the feel of the game. The sounds were solid and the tower hits felt like they had decent chunk to them. I am excited to see how the game will pan out the further along you get with the project. Recommendation: Currently the game is in a smooth playable state and I'd so far give it a recommend towards your follow list if you're just on the fence; or if you're an avid TD collector then go ahead and buy it. I will be checking back in on the game in a few months to see how its progress and update my review accordingly. Now on with the review. UI: This is a very early access title which means UI elements are simply not there that explain things to you. There are no mou…

I recently started playing this game and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! The heroic enemy attacks are truly epic and keep me hooked for hours on end. The variety of enemies, both terrestrial and aerial, adds to the challenge and keeps gameplay fresh. The tower arrangement feature is a strategic aspect that adds a whole new level of excitement to the game. I love being able to watch my towers engage in all out robotic battles. One of the best things about this game is the freedom for tower placements. You can truly customize your game strategy and experiment with different tower arrangements. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves action-packed, strategic games. It's a must-play!

If you hate robots, and you should, this TD game is a pleasant way to pass some time. No specific element stands out, but all together the game works. There is no story if that is your thing, but it has progression via economy system, but no tower experience.

I appreciate the effort, but this game just isn't fun. I did not want to review it until after any updates, but there have not been any. Lackluster at best. As someone who loves tower defense games (and has over 2000 hours on them), I felt this was a waste of money.
