High Seas, High Profits!

Really enjoyed this one. This is like an old-school trade sim that you'd see in the 90s-00s, with better graphics.

It's Patrician, again. Is this game better than Patrician? Hard to say. I really do like it's lightweight feel by comparison, although some UI elements feel subpar in terms of how much window navigation I have to do for routine tasks (and the game is chock full of routine tasks). I'd recommend against buying for those who have had their fill from the Patrician series, and offer a hesitant thumbs up for those who haven't and might like a grindy trade game, but only when on a sale of 40% or more.

ui is horrible

The UI needs work, too many clicks are required just to do basic things. The game hooks you early, but as the micromanagement piles up, it starts to feel more like a chore than fun. Underneath that, it's a solid little game, just not a user-friendly one. Overall my feelings are pretty neutral, but since there's no "Neutral" option here, I'll leave this as context for anyone deciding whether to buy

Needs things like the tutorial fixing. Doesn't make the best first impression when when interacting with the buttons closes the tutorial window you're supposed to be following and vice versus lol. I'll leave it on a thumbs up though - seems like others enjoy it.
