Retro Dungeon Slayer

First off, this game developer is pumping out games like they're Assassins Creed, they released 16 games in 1 day (Mar 3rd). Anyways, as you would expect from a 2.99 game bland but, has some small potential if they expand the dungeon mechanics ie Trading, Weapons, Magic. By my 33+ minutes of play time i can say that Magic is the only way to play. Do to the "Meditate" perk, you can just refill manually over time, there's no cool down, same thing with the healing passive. A few times i got attacked through the walls. The "Shields" don't work, at least i don't think might need to play more to see. The BIGGEST thing I HATED was the ungodly mouse sense, no settings AT ALL. Lastly, when saving a game when you're deep into a lvl, it doesn't even save your save it rests your progress and can't even go to your save file, bc there's no save file.

Feels very unfinished. All the monsters do the same thing and most of the spells either do damage or heal you like all of the other perks. There is no point to the skills menu yet and you just need to spam the heal ability. There is no difference between floors. It just feels like a walking simulator if you spam the abilities that have no cooldown. You can even ignore the monsters if you want. Just feels unfinished, which makes sense as an early access game, but it should be free and not worth the purchase.

Exactly what the other review "THEDEACON" said. All of the same issues. Also to add: The "Pause" button does NOT pause your game. The "Save" button does NOT save your game. If you interact with the merchant, you cannot equip any items without selling unless you go to a different floor. Not a different room, a different floor. The mouse sensitivity is ungodly horrible, absolutely abyssmal. Really like the art style though, if it was more polished, it could be a good game, but as of now it should be Free. NOT worth the $5.
