If you haven't played Balatro before, it is a must if you want to get any level of enjoyment out of this game. There is no demo, tutorial, preview, etc. to explain how the game works and the different interactions of combos. I have a decent amount of time on Balatro and still heavily dislike this game. The game feels unfinished and a waste of $10. If you're looking for a typing game, this is not it.

Roguelike typing concept is great, but game feels unfinished.. U will encounter many bugs, that can ♥♥♥♥ up your whole run. UI Sucks Ur not getting almost any hint or tutorial of how to play or what is even going on. Base game also has a LOT of special symbols included in the text for example: " ! ; : ' - . these symbols will most likely ♥♥♥♥ up your accuracy streak and can cost u whole run. Changing settings and selecting different text for your gameplay is possible, but everything will reset once u close the game... 100% steam achievements is doable in 5-10 hours based on ur typing speed look out for perks ur missing as some of them are rare to get, also there is an achievement for completing 500 typing jobs, which can be a little grindy

I came into this completely blind. I’ve never played a typing game before, so this is my first experience with the genre. It’s definitely a unique and slightly weird game, but there’s something oddly satisfying about it. The UI is simple, but the biggest issue is the lack of any tutorial, demo, or explanation. No guide, no preview, nothing. Features like perks and policies exist, but even now I still have no idea how they’re supposed to work. So when you play this game, you just experiment with everything until you finally figure out the system on your own.

So... I've been playing this and... I'm unsure if the devs fixed what the others had issues with in the game, OR I've gotten lucky. I read how some say it was inspired by Baltro. I know of the title, and vaguely that it's a card game. No other clue as to much outside of some details here and there. I do know about what I have seen while playing: -If there are still typos, they are few or I don't notice them (I generally play on little sleep and am not an editor, proofreader or anything more than just a typing enthusiast who liked Mavis Beacon as a kid). -Some of the keys don't show what they do or don't have on them as upgrades when using the show keyboard button. -Sometimes the perk card at the edge of the screen cannot be fully read after it's bought to check exactly what it says because it goes of screen. -The game doesn't really give a LOT of details into the perk card usage. Though you can kind of use context clues and see how they work with the mode you're in. I'm bad at explaining but just like in fighting games some cards may be more 'meta' to the mode you're in.
