[h1]Planet Lust Critical Review[/h1] Before we start this review I would like to type a few words here for the developers. While I understand that it must feel frustrating for you to be compared to a titan of a video game, that game being 'Stardew Valley' and basically being forced to live in its shadow. Though, I can also understand that it might be rather flattering that you are being compared to that game. However, the thing is that when you do everything half-baked like you have then criticism are valid. Remember; you are marketing this an adult game with adult entertainment and when that feels and comes up with lackluster results then you only have yourself to blame. Now then, with that typed we can now properly begin the review so that you can get your fix. [hr][/hr] [h1]STORY[/h1] You play as Swan - a very skilled hacker/programmer - who's life has seen better days. You start off in an apartment complex just livin' life when suddenly two agents comes around and abducts you and I can promise that Swan is equally as confused as the rest of us at this point. You are brought to a totally completely 100% definitely not evil looking man with the approved seal of 'trust me bro…

Gathering resources takes too long. Some missions involve growing plants, which takes days in-game. The rewards are poor. I think the only well-designed area is the first village. Weapon and tool progression is inconsistent. The story doesn't appeal to me, and you won't see any erotic content for years.

The grinding is too much in this one. That would be ok if the jump in difficulty did not get bigger the more you progress. I spend hours of grinding to get a better weapon (plasma gun) only to find that the next level of monsters (thermomites) are immune to it. Another 5 minutes to get back to the same place where I get mobbed by 3 creatures without a weapon to use against them. 30s dead. Rince repeat. No. FU. Stupid game. *None* of the actions you can take are even suggested, so you have to look it up. How to move a machine after you placed it ? You are on your own. The fat chick's progression is easy, the goodlooking captain chick just teases and is impossibly hard requiring the killing of the thermomites. The others don't progress past 20% even as you have 80% of the equipment upgrades. Takes your money to make you feel like a loser. Worst waste of time ever. This game sucks dinosaur balls.

Same experience as many other reviews, fun concept, a little barebones. Excellent pixel art and animations for the adult portions of the game. The "hardcore" adult portions are somewhat limited but quality certainly makes up for quantity in my opinion though, there is still plenty of Ecchi to be had otherwise. The gameplay that surrounds it suffers from being a bit repetitive, I believe that comes from the very confined story and experience. It can be tough deciding what to cut and what to expand upon in a short narrative game like this but you could certainly feel like there was plenty of space(lol) left to explore. I'm sure the scope of the game had to be contained in order to deliver a complete and succinct game and I think that's a commendable feat in the age of forever early access adult games. The writing is sort of styled like a cheesy action movie and it fits quite well with the story, capable of being both funny and "badass". I've played the developers other game(DBA) and I really appreciate the little easter eggs that were placed into Planet Lust.
