Overall the game was interesting. Not my favorite. The story line gets halted right before the end and all the sex scenes get unlocked in Rapid succession. Then the actual mystery continues. I feel like the unlocks could have been interwoven into the story a bit better. The animation during the scenes could have been better. Kate especially gets horribly distorted at some points and she vaguely resembles green goblin. Stories with the girls were good. The time factor to trigger events was clever but the fast forwarding to the next event when there was only one thing to investigate got tedious. As a developer it felt like rushed development was the reason for most of my complaints. 6.5 out of 10.

After Man of the House and Mystwood Manor, I was really looking forward to this game, and I wasn’t disappointed. It delivers a story that genuinely draws you in, mixing a bit of humor with mystery and plenty of lewd scenes. The game also offers a whole range of tasks to complete, things to find, and even a game within the game—a place where you can fight against different opponents and win money and points. You can skip this game if you want, but doing so means it will take longer to gather the resources you need. That said, it’s relatively easy to master. Graphically, the game features the usual mix of images and videos, but in terms of overall quality, I think it stands above the crowd. Simply put, it looks great. We meet a total of six women in this game, and while they all look good, they definitely aren't cut from the same mold. The one thing they do have in common is that their tits range from large to very large, so it would be nice to see a little more variety in that department. Another excellent addition to the Faerin Games library. The art, story, and... progressions are all captivating and hot in equal measure. Each partner has their own unique vibe and the progression you have with them doesn't feel cheapened or forced like some other games. One last compliment to the game and the series in general is the hint system. It lets you know enough without outright telling you what to do and in games like this where the blood isn't typically in the brain, that's a valuable feature.

Midnight Sin is the 3rd adult game by dev Faerin, coming after Man of the House and Mystwood Manor. The game opens with you speaking to a rather useless cop who is telling you that your estranged father has been murdered. Hmm... Mystwood Manor also started with your character's father getting killed... I suppose the father of the main character in Man of the House should consider himself lucky! Anyway, through some expository dialogue it is revealed that you are a trained body guard and but have failed in that line of work, so while you are capable you are currently unemployed and in debt to the local Russian gangster. As you leave the interview you run into a hot, but rather unfriendly woman, it turns out that this is your father's widow. You leave and go home. From this meeting the unfriendly woman finds out who you are and what your skills are and decides to hire you to protect her and the 3 young women who live with her that she is mentoring. So that establishes the basic set up of this adventure, in terms of gameplay and progress; most of it is simply a matter of making sure your character is in the right place at the right time to trigger certain events. Played the game partially the first time and realized that i was missing out on some "Love" points when I talk to the girls. So, I started over and was very patient. Whenever you talk to one of the girls (including Madeline), if you get a "Love" or "Lust" point by talking to them, stop talking to them for the day. Come back another day to talk to them more. This allowed me to have the max "Love" and "Lust" points for every girl and woman in the game. There are only 10 pages of saved game options for you to keep. Use them wisely. Loved the bonus scenes at the end of the game. Especially the ones showing the 3 girls pregnant. I have played all 3 games that this developer has created. I expect greatness for the next one written.
