Gameplay
Simplified arcade volleyball where you hit the ball and pass it to your opponent's field. However in Volley Pals, you can also do many other interesting things, which may not be welcomed in classic volleyball. Including but not limited to: invading your opponent’s area, using your opponent's service before they do, increasing the height of the net, playing rock/paper/scissors, and various other things that can be seen in the trailer.

Playing options range from 1v1 or 1v2 to 2v2, with any number being AI or real players, so playing volleyball never gets boring! On top of that, with each level the gameplay gets crazier as a different mechanic is introduced, and it’s up to you to master it and play it to your advantage. All levels are designed with a unique theme that gets you excited for what is coming next! Enjoy every second with original and cute 2D style characters to choose from, each with likable characteristics, topped off with beautiful music to get you immersed. You can even customize your own level to fit your tastes perfectly, a wonderful addition to the already delightful levels!

Sorry, but I will not do this workaround to get your game running. Since I just bought it and a 2 year old bug still hasn't been fixed, I will gladly return the game immediately...1 found this helpful

Is game fun with friends: a lot Does game have some bugs: also yes Is the game worth buying: only if you have brothers/roommates/offline friends you meet a lot/ have good internet to play with remote play and on discounts and if u have some spare money but its still worth it full price Is the game replayable: surely yes if u already played it more than the refund limit other than that just refund it bcz u will never play it again Mechanics: simple Performance: works on a potato Reviewer notes : the more actual players in game the better it is, also i liked how i can play with 4 players only with a keyboard But only offline is kinda sad tho but luckily for me i have brothers anyways lol
Fish volleyball at home
Art style is interesting, but controls were pretty severely lacking. Playing with bots was awful as well.
If I were playing with the '7 and under' crowd: A++ . Buy now. Some games are a need. The levels are simple but also interesting, the controls are simple. I expected more finesse in the control scheme beyond jump and move, but this exact thing combined with the very intuitive extras in the levels makes this a bullseye for the younger set. Not playing with the '7 and under' crowd: it beats doing nothing, but not by much. I don't see that I would ever pull this out to play on my own accord of my gobs and gobs of games. There's no dopamine hit of pulling off some sort of impossible shot.
