WE ARE FOOTBALL 2024

New to European Football. Played Football Manager and this game is much more suited for beginners and those new to soccer after World Cup. This games comes with manual (which is rare) and a decent help system. Much appreciated. Number one soccer game for me.

* Firstly - I just started this game 3 hours ago and was kicked/crashed out 3 times and had to restart completing my club info and colours 2 times. The crash happened 3 times when pressing the i [Info] button at the bottom so please fix that issue for PC please. This is a very BUSY game and I understand the need for such an expansive set-up which is for me personally very immersive and enjoyable BUT you can really improve on a better and more dedicated tutorial. It took me 30 minutes to just set up info and then an hour to bue/sell players which is confusing as their is no actual transfer market but I can buy from any club, any country for starters. Then it took me an hour to just place a boarding school and footpath as the mechanics to build is very dodgy. Then another hour to go through all the messy menus and did not understand half of it because I need a degree in business and menu mechanics to get the hang of all decisions being a 10% owner which is also confusing. To get more "info" I get kicked out ofthe the game on the "GOOD TO KNOW" info button. It will surely "BE GOOD TO KNOW" if you could add a tutorial for every actual "job" I need to do. Compare your game to FOOTBAL…

It is simplified version of Football Manager. For those of you who are encumbered with FM this could be a good option for starting before moving to FM

This takes me back to the FIFA manager series in big ways, a lot to like here but it still lacks plenty as well. I waited a long time to review this game because I have reservations about how to rate it, I am not sure if it is a solid recommend yet. I am going to give it a pass and recommend it based on it being on sale, right now it is 50% off at the time of this review and I feel like that is afir price for what you get. I will no go into great depth about the good and the bad, what features are great and what features are missing because a lot of reviews have done that, what I will say is that it is not FM and this is a good thing in this case, it is a different experience and if you liked FIFA manager this is a lot more like that.

Mixed feelings about the sequel to We Are Football. Some of the new features certainly give the game a bit more depth than its predecessor, and once one gets used to the partly new UI, it's also easier to navigate. What makes it frustrating is the match mechanics. Your team will quickly get on a losing streak, and there seems to be no way out. Now, in football it's perfectly OK to lose to an objectively weaker team. To lose to it spectactularly - like 6:1 - isn't something that should happen as often as it does here. What also shouldn't happen is that you lose to much weaker teams three or four times in a row.
