Honestly baffled this game didn't find greater success. It feels like if Destroy All Monsters MATURED into a game with more interesting (and cool) gameplay. It should honestly be a must-buy for anyone that loved Destroy All Monsters back in the day.

[h1]Runs well on steam Deck[/h1] While the game has potential for 2-4 player co-op, as a single player title its quite a lackluster experience. There's no actual story or plot , or missions. You just go straight to the area. That seems poor narrative to me. Gameplay is fairly repetitve, and arenas are often far too small for the battle to be easily contained. This means endless smashing an opponent into an invisible barrier, and they sometimes get stuck in bad positions. It really has potential, but not in its current form. I was quite disappointed, but luckily I bought it on a deep discount Steam key through a third party. I don't believe its worth the retail price, but your mileage may vary. If you see it on deep discount, it might be a better proposition. For similar titles, I'd look for real kaiju action, like the upcoming re-release of Godzilla Destroy all Monsters. Maybe I've just been spoiled by such classics.

Probably won't turn any heads compared to some of the larger brawler type games, but there's still a lot to like here. Overall, it's a very likeable brawler game with some great crossover characters, fun maps, and basic but well-paced gameplay. Def recommend for Kaiju fans.

An evolved form of Godzilla destroy all monsters with Godzilla and gang plus many other kaiju as DLC. Game is fire!

Personally, this is my waiting room for the Destroy All Monsters Melee remaster, but fans of Toho, Daiei, and Tsuburaya might love this as well. Great style and soundtrack with mechanics influenced from beat 'em ups and platform fighters, and a more isometric view than DOMM.
