CHARACTERS
Nanase Katagiri (Voice: Hitomi Yanagi)The campus’s resident baddie, rumored to be up to constant miscellaneous mischief by the student body at large.
The reality is that she’s still very much a good girl at heart, but uses these rumors to her and Junnosuke’s advantage to get out of unwanted sticky situations.
Hinami Watarai (Voice: Shino Amekawa)
Petite upperclassman who’s actually in her third and final year. Despite appearances,
her short stature belies a big heart and a motherly knack for doting on others.
Asane Tachibana (Voice: Soramame)
Junnosuke’s younger sister and most sympathetic supporter. Although somewhat of a recluse, she has a wild side to her, too.

Usually, I don't like absurd VNs, and I don't care about H-scenes in VNs. So I thought I wouldn't like Nukitashi. But to my great surprise, I ended up really enjoying it. It was quite a ride. The game made me laugh a lot. The plot and battles were interesting too. My ranking of the routes: Misaki-Hinami-Fumino-Nanase. The absurdity of Misaki's route clicked with me the most (and Misaki is also my favorite character in the game). Hinami's route has an interesting SS storyline. Fumino's and Nanase's routes are a bit worse. And between these two, I'm putting Nanase last because of the ending.8 found this helpful
Of the many visual novels I've played this is by far one of them. To write an accurate review about everything that I enjoyed with this game might honestly take more time than it did to play through it all. It's a genre bending eroge chaulked full of satirical, dry humour that makes the playing experience (after translation patches) incredibly unique. It truly is unlike any other visual novel I've played (outside maybe DDLC and You and Me and Her) that breaks the typical genre stereotypes and it does it while maintaining the core identity of the eroge genre that it is going for. Each character's personality feels uniquely refreshing and when together are far more than the sum of their parts. Thank the visual novel overlords at Qruppo for Junnosuke Tachibana. While admittedly a despicable character at times with his obliviousness towards others and unending self determination, he is somehow a lone rock in this otherwise eroded, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane world. He has his ideals and sticks to them -- while wavering at times, those moments show humanity and ultimately make him easier to root for. A really great experience overall. Nukitashi truly feels like a VN in a league of its own, especially with its absurd setting and its unique approach to comedy. What surprised me the most is how well it manages to mix completely unhinged humor with genuinely serious and engaging moments. Really curious to see how the story and characters develop in Nukitashi 2. 7.5/10
