About 500 Second Challenge

During the game, you can increase the experience value by stepping on the ladder or eating stars.

The simple version increases the luck value, the number of consecutive jumps, the maximum life, the life-saving floor seconds, but the score is reduced.

feature:
- Faster and faster game speed
- Fun and light music
- Use of random skills
- Get high scores for your skills
What Steam players say

Players are largely negative about this game, criticizing it as a bare-bones platformer with unclear mechanics and questionable asset choices that feel derivative and insincere. The core concept of surviving for 500 seconds is seen as pointless and poorly executed, with frustrating progression and no meaningful engagement to justify even its free price. While some acknowledge the graphics look decent, most agree the game lacks creative substance and recommend alternatives like Downwell instead.

"500 Second Challenge" is a simple platformer with stolen/flipped sprites and a bare minimum viable product "game" attached. Just jump around and stay alive for 500 seconds. Pointless, intellectually and creatively bankrupt, stealing other people's art and putting your own name on it. There's another reason gamers don't like asset flips like this. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't a…
Go play Downwell instead, this is not that great 1.8/10
Before I played 500 Second Challenge, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
