About 9 Years of Dreaming
9 Years of Dreaming is an action-adventure game that takes you deep into the subconscious of Jacob, a man who has been in a coma for nine years following a devastating car accident. While his body remains in the hospital, Jacob's mind is trapped in a surreal dreamscape where he meets Lumby, an enigmatic character who seeks to guide him towards awakening.
Within this dream, Jacob must journey through five unique worlds, each representing a different aspect of his psyche. These worlds are guarded by powerful bosses that Jacob must confront and defeat if he hopes to escape his prolonged slumber and return to reality.

Throughout the game, Jacob unlocks three distinct abilities that aid him in his quest, offering new ways to overcome challenges. Mastering these abilities is key to progressing through each world and ultimately piecing together the path to his awakening.

Along the way, Jacob will encounter a variety of NPCs—each with their own stories, struggles, and conflicts. These characters add depth to the world, revealing fragments of lore and engaging Jacob in arguments.

The enemies that Jacob faces are manifestations of his inner fears and doubts, though they are unaware of the role they play in his dream. Instead, they exist as obstacles that Jacob must overcome, representing the internal battles he must face to regain consciousness.

Will Jacob manage to wake up and escape the labyrinth of his own mind? Or will he remain lost in the dream forever? 9 Years of Dreaming is a poignant exploration of the human spirit, resilience, and the power of the subconscious.

I could not get through this game. The spelling was so bad. Some of it was obvious language barrier mistakes, but some of it was just laziness like spelling trust as turst for example. lazy and just boring all around. Even the menu bars for adjusting volume and sensitivity is jank. you dont just simply push it and slide. Yoy have to find somewhere on the bar where it lets you grab it.
honestly no clue what this is, when i played it or if i was even a wake. it looks like it could be fun for some people maybe? probably not.. idk..
