AccidentHouse has a similar charm to the Evil Dead movies, made on a student budget with bad dialogue and scuffed monsters and B-grade design. And often such games created would be forgettable and binned. But for this game, (like Evil Dead) the B-grade effort makes for pure comedy and lots of laughter. The translation into English is hilariously golden. The monsters look like men in latex suits and the lighting and sets give a 1980's atmosphere, much like Stranger Things. If you are looking for a well made, sophisticated AAA title, this is not it. But if you are looking for a laugh, a jump scare or two and an experience equivalent to a ghost train ride at the fair, then this is the one for you. This was a very cheap game, I was very surprised/shocked to see it had very positive ratings. Seems like it is some Chinese students who put the game together. Although there is a language barrier and they had to use a text-to-speech generator for the voice overs, it is a very nice and well put together game. Reminds me of going through a haunted maze or haunted house. A little story that you can follow along to. Not really a puzzle game but nonetheless it was fun walking around and trying to survive.2 found this helpful
