ANIMALITY, developed by ColloseusX and published by Phat Phrog Studios, is a fast-paced, skill-driven endless runner that embraces simplicity while delivering a surprisingly intense reflex challenge. Released on Steam in early 2017, the game positions itself as an accessible yet competitive arcade-style experience built around pixel-art animals sprinting through increasingly dangerous environments. While it does not aim for narrative depth or complex mechanics, ANIMALITY thrives on immediacy, responsiveness, and the addictive pursuit of higher scores. At its core, the game follows the classic endless runner formula. Players select an animal character and dash forward across a side-scrolling landscape filled with hazards. The objective is straightforward: survive as long as possible while avoiding enemies such as dragons and demonic creatures and collecting life gems that extend your run. The simplicity of this design makes the game easy to understand within seconds, but the escalating speed and obstacle density quickly transform it into a demanding test of reaction time and concentration. What begins as a lighthearted sprint soon becomes a frantic exercise in split-second decision…

For $2, it's okay. If you like simple, this is for you :)

I did not enjoy this game very much, it gets very boring after like 10 minutes. Although, its a fine game if you want to get lots of achievements and a game on your account. I noticed (when I still had this on my computer) it made my PC run pretty rough, more than any other game that you EXPECT to make a PC laggy. Perhaps if the developer came back to take care of this game, it could be good. For now though, I say its worth it to save your few dollars.
