About Anura
In “Anura” you are Don Rano, a frog with the mission to cross the swamp jumping from platform to platform, dodging obstacles and using bubbles to propel himself as far as possible. Thanks to his bubble-blower, you will be able to create bubbles that will help you get to places you didn't think you would be able to reach
Use bubbles to jump
Even if some platforms seem far away, you can use the bubbles on the stage to jump on them and propel yourself further. But be careful! The bubbles are fragile, and will break as soon as you touch them.Create your own bubbles
Sometimes it may seem impossible to get to the other side, but don't worry, because Don Rano always carries his bubble-blower on his back, so blow up and create the bubbles you need to reach the end!Explore all levels and set your new high score!

it's a short but fun platformer with an interesting mechanic of creating your own platform, although it takes a few level before unlocking it. You can only do one bubble in the air so its not as op as it sounds.3 found this helpful
A short platformer with an interesting mechanic and speedrun potential, sadly, hindered by a steep increase in difficulty in the last 2 levels which made me wonder whether I missed a crucial mechanic. The game starts of as a fun -and interesting platformer, allowing you to discover new ways to chain the jump -and bubble-spawning mechanics together and genuinly making you feel like you're breaking the game in the best of ways. Sadly, in the last couple levels it feels like the devs decided to change the level-design-approach and, rather than letting you route in different ways (fe. by placing bubbles before committing to your jump), they enforce pixel-perfect jumps which feel more like a souls-like skill-check. It's the tonal difference between the first 28 and the last 2 levels which is sadly really frustrating -and confusing to me. Overall: highly recommend the first ~28 levels, especially given the low price. Afterwards decide whether or not it's worth it for you to complete the game based on your tolerance to frustrating pixel-perfect-jumps.2 found this helpful

Absolutely love the art-style and the little frog fella! Loved going through levels 1-28 sadly got stuck on 29s last jump and I just have no clue what to do there. Still would recommend the game even just for the first 28 levels to perfect clear times!
This pixel art frog platformer is a hard game, no doubt about it. At first it can feel punishing, and every jump really matters. But once you start to understand the movement, something clicks. You end up flowing with the frog, moving almost on instinct, like you and the character are one and the same. The controls feel tight and responsive, and mastering them is part of the fun. The difficulty never feels unfair; it pushes you to improve, to learn the rhythm of the jumps and momentum. When everything lines up, the game feels incredibly satisfying. On top of that, the pixel art style is gorgeous and full of charm, perfectly matching the precise, demanding gameplay. It’s the kind of game that tests your patience at first, but rewards you with that amazing feeling of control and flow once you really get it. Challenging, beautiful, and deeply satisfying once it clicks.
