About Apples in the Abyss
A puzzle platformer passion project where you manipulate the fabric of space to collect some apples. Tear holes, rotate chunks, and mirror entire columns of space across each other. Collect all the apples with a given set of abilities in each stage.Ability 1: The holeTear a square hole in space with a specified direction, deleting everything inside, terrain included. Afterwards, everything in the column given by the direction specified is pulled into the vacuum. This imparts momentum to the playerAbility 2: The rotationRotate a square chunk of space to any angle you wish. Rotating yourself changes your direction of gravity. Ability 3: The mirrorSelect a reflection line and a direction. Space is reflected across that reflection line.All abilities work with physics, so you can rotate yourself and maintain the same momentum in your reference frame. 100% Full refund guaranteed if you find any bugs. Great game! Found on the discovery queue and immediately peaked interest. Some great mechanics; I jumped in totally blind, didn't even watch the gameplay video. Every new discovery felt great. Loved how open-ended the solutions were. The final challenge level was a super satisfying solve
Strangely there's something about this game that reminds me a lot of the kind of games that I played in my childhood, specifically Flash games such as "This is the only level", etc. However, the gameplay here is a lot more puzzle-oriented. The best part of this is that it's a puzzle game that really feels as if your imagination is the limit when trying to figure out the solution - there is no particular "correct" way to solve them. Definitely worth playing, it's a good time for free after all.
Incredibly fun tight nit experience!!!! XP i rlly lke it!!!!! I'm stuck on 28 and ill edit this when i beat it but like omg its soooo hard!!!! i hope the game gets new updates soon cause its potential is limiteless!!!!
really cool puzzles. gets hard at the second page.
A fun little puzzler that takes a fun set of gimmicks and tests out the waters with them. Nothing too difficult, but not too hard either. For the low-low price of free, if you're into these types of puzzles then it's a good way to kill an hour or two.
