It is slow, tedious and overall not very challenging. Every level is a linear set of actions without too much actual puzzling going on, while your sentient water bottle (yes) slowly trudges across the screen. There is not too much to see, even with the somewhat interesting artstyle.Notably, the game also has (at least one) bug: choosing the "Errand Run" level in the menu brings you to the level "Spaghetti Code" instead, which I had not yet unlocked and is further down the list.4 found this helpful
It's nice for the first 5 minutes, and then you realizes -- that's all the game has to offer. You get the first level that introduces almost everything and then it's the exact same thing for all the levels. It gets boring, fast. The throw mechanic is a bit clunky, I dropped the game near the end of the level with obligatory throws because I dropped my fruit 10 times (!!) in a row. It's slow paced, way too slow, it requires little to no thoughts, only patience. I feel like my time is better spent elsewhere.2 found this helpful
A cute little retro-styled puzzle game. Check it out on the CosmOS 9 bundle if you like indy puzzle games
I watched a really good review once that described a tiring level of a puzzle game by saying that the solution didn't take long to figure out, but the execution of the solution did take a while. That's every single level of this game... I never really had fun, and also never had to think too hard. Throwing fruit always felt bad, and falling off the level was never a strong enough mechanic to be worth the dozens of times I fell off with fruit in my hands.
fun and short a little slow maybe
I don't have it in me to leave a negative review for this game. I wouldn't recommend seeking this game out in particular nor do I think people will play it very long once they have. If you put this game in its proper context I think it's fine. What is that context? It's part of the CosmOS 9 Bundle which is this really cool idea for a 90s style... scifi... fictional games console for funky space aliens. In reality it's a bundle of short indie dev puzzle games with that overarching alien theme. This game is consistent with that theme so I think it succeeded in what it sought out to do. It might not be an exceptional game on its own but I don't know that it has to be. I think it's fine being a CosmOS 9 game and I enjoyed it for being that. I never finished the game and I may never finish it, I don't know we'll see. I thought it was a little lackluster overall because it's really just a simple puzzle game there isn't a whole lot of depth to it but the puzzles were entertaining while I was playing it. It reminds me of a puzzle game you would find on DOS back in the day and I can almost guarantee if we were still in the DOS days this would probably have a fan base because it's not …
