Good game, original ideas for gameplay but sadly too hard for me. If you're looking for a challenging NES-like platformer with tons of hidden mechanics to discover and learn you should try it.

[h1]You Found a SECRET Game[/h1] The fact that BB's starting screen is a level unto itself should set the expectations for the whole adventure. Want to know the controls? Well go find them! Yes, they're actually here [i]somewhere[/i]. What does your magic actually do? What's the deal with those border panels that keep changing on every screen? And so it goes... Though this game is not designed to stump you on a single stage for very long, there will be a fair number of items you could walk past thinking "I have no idea how to get there!" Whatever you might struggle with in BB's presentation or platforming is secondary to this peculiar mood of being Baffled & Curious.

Some creative re-imaginings in retro-styled games can be really fascinating, and Bitsy Bits is one of the best examples. It's full of brutal, garish colors, brutally tough platform puzzling, weird weapons and enemies, and way more hidden surprises than you can find in one or two play-throughs. To describe it, I suggest imagining that somebody found a Super Mario Bros 2 clone on a Cold War Soviet supercomputer. It also has a lot of extra features including mini-games, which is probably why it is priced on the high end as retro games go. That's why I suggest you HURRY if you can get it during a big sale!
