Board Quizz Adventure is a fun little party game, perfect to play while having a drink with friends. It’s very accessible to everyone, even people not used to playing video games: you can play without holding a controller. Answer questions to clear the way and reach the objective first!
Players are split into two teams, only one person holds the controller for the team. The goal is to be the first team to reach the village. Forests and fields are on your way, to clear the path you have to answer questions. Answer fast, but be careful: a wrong answer blocks the way for good, forcing you to find another way around it.
To spice things up, chicken-jokers and other guests with unique behaviours may either help you to gain the edge over the other team, or disrupt you plans.

[b]board quizz adventure[/b] is a trivia game with maps where players start on opposite sides and they have to reach the village before their opponent. steam's remote play together technically makes it work online, otherwise it's [b]only local multiplayer, no ai opponents[/b]. the developer said they might add them, hasn't happened yet. the store page also says it's for an [b]unlimited number of players, but it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥[/b]. only 1v1, but if you have more people around, they can give advice or take turns with the controls. exactly like every other game in existence, pretty lame 'feature' to highlight. there's a short tutorial, one of the worst I've ever seen, so here's how it works. [b]both players move in real-time, it's not turn-based[/b], which is another bummer, but I'm sure a more chaotic trivia experience is fun for some people. so you walk around the map, categories come up when you're near an obstacle, and bumping into one brings up a question. a correct answer lets you progress, an incorrect one blocks that path, gotta find another route. there's [b]no timer and you can back out of questions without consequences[/b]. movement is tile-based, yet feels a bit floaty, but…10 found this helpful
Not a bad game, but some improvements could be made to make it better. 1. Having the option of a score limit? Right now it seems that it just goes on until both sides agree that the one with more points wins? 2. A topic filter for questions? I get that it's supposed to be general knowledge, but not everyone is a genius. (It is rather funny to see friends struggle to answer questions though).3 found this helpful
I'd say positive, because I like the concept. But by nature of two players frantically answering separate trivia questions, I felt like we didn't really talk or interact much. You're too busy reading and answering to really joke around with each other. Maybe a mode that forces things to be turn based would be better?? Then you can take your time a bit, be more strategic, and better understand how the other player is doing. Another thing, is 2 times we were both completely blocked, and the game doesn't have checks in place to just end the level at that point. That would help1 found this helpful
