It's an acceptable asteroids clone. The most unique aspect of this one is the extensive skill tree for upgrading your ship. If there was a wider variety of things to shoot at it would be a lot more enjoyable. Perhaps some enemy ships that shoot back at you. If you try to get all the achievements it would take quite a few hours but you see all the game play this game offers after a couple of levels. If a campaign mode with a story and actual enemies was added there might be a point to playing more.2 found this helpful

"Bolide" is a garbage tier amateur GameMaker Studio arcade shoot 'em up with no meaningful gameplay, a trite and pointless progression tree, and appalling P2W DLC monetisation... which is largely irrelevant because this was such a huge failure nobody bothered playing it. And I can see why based on my experience. It's bad, real bad. What do you do in the game? It's an arcade shoot 'em up, only worse. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else.
