About Bonkies
Space colonization takes a lot of work and is super dangerous. Far too dangerous for humans, so monkeys will have to do it!Bonkies is a space-monkey simulator where you experience life as a crew of bionic monkeys building the future of humanity among the stars, paid by the hour in bananas. Build moon habitats, rockets and floating space hotels - heck why not a nuclear reactor or two on a lake of frozen methane? Anything is possible when you strap a jetpack on a monkey, equip it with an industrial strength robot arm and wave goodbye to labor rights!

Bonkies, developed by Studio Gauntlet and published by Crunching Koalas, is a delightful and chaotic cooperative physics-based construction game that combines teamwork, precision, and slapstick humor into a colorful and heartwarming space adventure. The premise is simple yet absurd in the best way possible: players control adorable monkeys in robotic suits, each equipped with a banana-powered jetpack and a mechanical grabber arm, as they travel from planet to planet building structures to aid in humanity’s expansion into the cosmos. What unfolds is a series of increasingly complex challenges that demand coordination, patience, and plenty of laughter as players fumble, crash, and cheer their way through tasks that are equal parts problem-solving and comedy. The first thing that stands out about Bonkies is its charm. The art direction is bright and cartoonish, with expressive characters and environments that radiate positivity. Every monkey suit is distinct and endearing, the animations are full of personality, and the environments are vibrant with a whimsical sci-fi flair. The soundtrack complements this perfectly, with upbeat, cheerful tunes that make even repeated failures feel l…1 found this helpful

It tests your patience between your friends but it makes for a fun albeit stressful time (maybe this was just my friends!). But it's fun to see couch co-op games actually rely on teamwork without being another overcooked-like. It's criminal how few ratings this has.
Good fun and reasonably difficult challenges. Only local multiplayer.

Game is very fun in co-op! Highly recommend for a local co-op game
