Not sure how or when this game appeared in my Steam library because I definitely did not buy it, and it seems like I’m the only person on Steam that has bothered to play and review it. On the surface this does look like an interesting idea. I thought it was gonna be a combination of racing and dungeon crawler, but very quickly (after the main menu unfreezes), it’s apparent that this is one of those games that’s just thrown together without much thought about what makes a game a game. The racing environments are very odd and the tracks are not really tracks, they’re just road 3d models all kinda jammed together. Maybe worst of all is the car control. Controller support is ideal for racing games, but if you’re going to only have mouse and keyboard support, at least have better handling for the cars. They barely move when you steer and it makes any turn in this game such a struggle. Probably the most rigid racing game I’ve played. This makes level 5 genuinely a roll of the dice, hoping that between the bad steering, bad AI-controlled racers, and unpredictable collision, you make it to each checkpoint.
