[h1] General idea ok. Execution a bit lacking. Character slides on earth and the game is rather slow paced. Survival elements where you gather resources and build stuff. Nothing too complext. VIsuals simplified but have some nice touch like moving foliage and trees in nice way. Sounds are good. Play if you like survival games otherwise skip to da hoop like a basketball ball. [/h1]

Great idea for a game, but too many bugs and glitches prevented any enjoyment from it.

"Bound Forest Alpha" is just like it says on the box... not a proper game, it's an alpha test. Why are developers so keen to dump incomplete garbage onto Steam? Does Steam look like a trash can to these guys? Anyway this is just a tech demo where the developers tried and failed to create a cartoony survival game only without knowing how to make such games properly. It's a clunky, buggy, unfinished mess. Hard to say this was even ready to be called an alpha. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. Bound Forest Alpha is a small-scale survival action RPG that blends wilderness exploration, crafting, ranged combat, and fantasy adventure into a single-player experience. Если разработчики продолжат работать над геймплеем, добавят больше интерактивности и проработают повествование, 'Bound Forest' может стать настоящим шедевром.
