BROKEN is a single-player and cooperative online investigation and exorcism game for up to 4 players, where the goal is to solve paranormal investigations.
It all starts in the office of the investigator and his sidekick, a psychic by trade. Mandated by the Vatican, their mission is to solve all the investigations related to the paranormal and thus make their activity report. Later, they decide to recruit a scientist to bring a more "rational" expertise to their investigations with the Vatican.
Stories with a dark past unfolded.... Murders have been committed. It's up to you to solve these cold cases and other recent murders that cross the path of the living during paranormal events. Play as an exorcist, a psychic, a detective or a scientist, each with their own unique talents and personality.
- Single player mode : Complete your character's story in multiple chapters with a spine-chilling past. Choose your male or female character and start their story!
- Cooperative Mode : Online, Broken is playable by 2-4 players.
- Immersion : Find yourself in an immersive world where only you and the shadows remain thanks to realistic graphics and sounds! Anguish and surprises will surprise you. Let yourself be taken in by the game and get into the skin of your character for a better experience!
- Investigations : It's time to grab your equipment and get in touch with the dead or find clues about the murders! But watch out... they say curiosity is a bad habit... .
- Characters : Each character has a particular liability! Play as an exorcist, a detective, a scientist or a psychic, each of whom has their own distinct talents.
- Gameplay : From holy water, to psychic power, to baseball bats, find your character with specific skills to solve your case!
- Voice recognition : Be careful what you say... the ghosts are listening!
- Difficulty : In the hardgame mode be careful! Be careful not to kill your teammates! An accident happens so quickly...

Want to like it, but its far from being recommended. Other negative reviews give you basically the idea. Even on sale, its not ready yet, I do like parts and ideas of the game and while it is in EA its very hard to say anything good/worth checking out. The training I thought was good until I started an actual level and went, wow they left out a decent chunk of how to actually play levels and such and lock picking (easy enough to figure out but). But the ghost or whatever was attacking me at first made my gf jump and scream once, it was basically as easy as walking away from it while it slowly came for you. I do like the idea of having different characters and classes with different skills but you are not told about it until your actually playing the game.2 found this helpful
This game has a lot of potential. The atmosphere is very scary and the puzzles require you to think a bit. I can't wait to play the story mode! I recommend it.2 found this helpful
Honestly I love the game but it has some problems one the tutorial is great and all but the Ouija board only works in the tutorial but needs to go more deep into the tutorial like perhaps show more of the rituals to exorcism the ghosts and more detail about digitalprints and fingerprints but other then that the game is amazing besides the Ouija board doesn't work in game it self and then there's the spam the spacebar what's the point of spamming the spacebar if you can't escape no matter how fast you tap the spacebar I see it as pointless yes it makes the game more harder but still I tap fast but no escape what so ever other then that game is amazing on another note the ghost orbs are way to small and the dust around the room makes it hard to know if it's ghost orbs or not.2 found this helpful
