About Bust Buddies
Bust Buddies is an absurd co-op party game where you whip out your tools to out-bust your buddies. Take on random or player-made prompts, sculpt cursed marble creations, and battle it out to see who’s not just the best buster... but the true Bust GOD.
Start with the humble chisel and hammer, just like the Greek Busters. Then bust it wide open with chaotic upgrades like sucker punchers, intergalactic guns, spray paints, and plenty more cursed tools to ruin fine art history forever.
So many ways to bust it feels illegal. Take on random prompts in Classic Mode, force your friends to bust out your cursed ideas, or even help your bro bust in Bust Bros.
“The statue is mortal, but the bust god drips eternal.” - Bust God. That's right - you'll be able to customize and doodle your buster to flex your marble-hard guns when you win.

Lets talk about why we'll never touch this game again, the main one of all being optimisation, then compare what issues I was having with my PC specs below. Firstly, the tools. Half of them barely function. Every click with the goop gun micro stutters the entire lobby. Almost, every single tool, causes the game to stutter. You can even see this in the trailer, they primarily use the tools that don't impact the FPS in it (the spraycan.) , but when they do... Quick list of my remembered issues of the items. 1. The resize ray breaks, everything. Do NOT resize anything if you want tools to work properly on your build. 2. The gerbil launcher may as well eat your FPS alive, I have no idea why it's that rough, it seems to work inititally then it just, floats in one spot causing microstutters for 2mins til it despawns. 3. Hammer makes holes WAY bigger or smaller than the UI is telling you. 4.Spray cans paint is super blurry and really cheapens the whole thing. It's clear from the rest of the game that it's probably some sort of implementation failure rather than being intended by design. 5. I think this game is fun for friends who want to get together and play a silly lighthearted game and have fun together. I think it would be fun on console and to play at parties and gatherings.3 found this helpful
Fun game to hangout with friends and create some absolutely cursed sculptures! Many good laughs when you get a look at what others are making (or at least trying to make....). I appreciate the tools and in-game events that make building a challenge for the other players which adds to the chaos of the game. Totally worth the price of admission! p.s. it took me way too long to realize that "Bust" in the title is a pun on a sculpture bust 😬3 found this helpful
The game was pretty creative and despite it being a little wonky in the sense of trying to be "accurate" with what you're trying to build (as in not worrying about trying to fine-tune WHAT you're building but instead just trying to just come up with something quick), which is just personally a ME thing cuz I'm a bit of a perfectionist, it was still fun to play.3 found this helpful

Fun concept, now I just have to get 5 friends to play with.
