Inspired by many classics from the golden age of arcades, Captain Firehawk pays respect to the Shoot 'Em Up genre, putting a comedic and raunchy twist on the classic formula. When enormous, size-morphing vixens begin attacking planets throughout the galaxy, only one team can stand against these formidable foes and set things right: Emmy the engineer, Dr. Unit, the cinematographer robot, and Captain Firehawk, a pizza guy with a pilot's license. They must rely on their wits, quick reflexes and - of course - Firehawk's legendary retro gaming skills!

Captain Firehawk is a shoot 'em up with 6 levels where you spend your time avoiding enemies and bullets and then take on a giantess boss where you need to destroy her clothes before finishing her off. The game isn't very difficult as the only way you can die is if you kill the boss before destroying all her clothing. If you're going for achievements, the goal is to avoid getting hit too much and collect enough coins in a level; which isn't overly hard, as there are plenty. Between levels there is an occasional sex scene and some sort of storyline that makes very little sense -- I don't have any idea what the background plot was ultimately about. Anyhow, the game was decent enough, though a bit on the simple side without a ton of content; I'd pick it up on sale. *Images are uncensored and without mosaic.

Bizarre ero-shmup in the vein of the Deep Space Waifu series and others, where you are shooting the clothes off of anime girls. This time, the devs decided to make their huge size a giantess fetish thing explicitly, but that's still basically no different from every other game of this type. The gameplay is pretty okay, though it's very easy to get a completion (as opposed to three stars) and you've really seen everything it has to throw at you by the time you finish the first three stages out of six. It also has a fairly involved story. This story is extremely nonsensical, and not just in the ero game way, but the "reminiscent of poorly-translated games" way, with people often saying things that don't seem to follow the previous line at all. The art is pretty good, though, and it was fun enough I guess.

It gets by on its art style. Not the best shooter in the world. Limited enemy variety and weapons. The levels are short. Still, it was engaging enough to finish. Considering the size of my backlog, keeping my attention is impressive.

It's fun, especially for how cheap it is. The characters are the 90's anime hot, some just happen to look big on the screen. Wish there was a point to the coins, like an in game shop to upgrade your ship or something. If I had this on an old console, with the crt tv, I bet the vibes would fit better. Still, it's a fun little shooter with sexy giant ladies and a good soundtrack.

This is one that I wish I could give a neutral review: The good: The art The music The bad: No boobs for you. Just playing through and completing the missions basically gives you nothing but the giantesses. The scenes of you dealing with them are behind one type of completion, money earned in the game. Unlike... every other spicy game I've played you're not going to buy this, beat it, and enjoy that spice. The iffy: Replay value - You're going to have to grind each short level over and over to unlock everything. Difficulty - This is a really easy game. Some enemies are obnoxious but the boss fights are all the same. They're a little annoying because you're going to just have to dodge until the part of the giantess you're working on comes back around. If you're like "wow I like grinding a boobs" buy it. If you think "I hate grinding so much" then pass.
