About Captive: You Are My Idol
Captive: You Are My Idol is a fictional game where the player is kidnapped by their biggest fan with the delusion of them belonging together. During the day, Aylen is encouraged to play his game, and during the evening, she is brought upstairs to enjoy his home-cooked dinners. However, these dinners are the most critical moments for Aylen. Will you, as Aylen, decide to investigate your surroundings and plot your escape? Or will you attempt to deceive your kidnapper with your words? Then again, there's always the third option, where the first two never had a chance to start.Key Features
- Use point-and-click to examine your surroundings in first person.
- Made choices that can drastically change how the game ends.
- Charm your kidnapper or fail miserably.
- Stealthily solve the Puzzle Cube while your kidnapper tries to find you.
- Make bad decisions and outright flop in front of your kidnapper.
- Fall in love with your kidnapper and play his game.
Message from the developerHi, I'm TheOdie, creator of Captive: You Are My Idol (referred to as Captive from here on out) and the one and only person of Nightmare Pug Studios. Captive, like most of my games, is to push the boundaries of RPG Maker. In some ways, you can consider my games as experimental horror games. Anyway, the unique concept here is to use 2D and 3D to greatly emphasize the horror and tension between scenes, while adding new elements for each perspective.
The story of Captive and its split paths has been an idea since 2020. I hope you find one route entertaining and enjoyable enough to see where the other route(s) take you :).
Also! If you're a fan of retro game manuals and behind-the-scenes developments, the supporter edition comes with an eBooklet as my way of saying thanks for your support :D

Didn't like the story but i can see how others can, just wasn't my thing. Game play was fun tho.
Wow! This was great! Loved the suspicion mechanic, loved the story tree and loved the characters. The story flowed well and all and all was worth it.
