Cleo's Lost Idols

"Cleo's Lost Idols" is a mobile app looking bit of a cash grab... certainly not free, anyway. It's a convoluted premise, you basically have to get a bunch of workers to move stuff around a low poly map in just the right way to collect all the coins so you can unlock more levels, just like a mobile app. To play the game, as best I could work out, you tap on your iPhone screen to make workers move around and pick up and move idol pieces to make Cleopatra that speaks Simlish babble happy. This is not at all free, and disgustingly, the developers locked achievements behind crap DLC that you have to buy. This is never acceptable. This mobile app has low poly mobile app looking graphics, terrible sound design, and a really poor mobile app like UI. It fails pretty much every technical implementation standard you would expect from a PC game. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as you're expected to pay up more money to unlock content/DLC so you can keep playing. This is some nasty, predatory pricing and PC gamers don't like it. Yep, the developer has their hand out for $7.50 USD worth of DLC for this. Cleo’s Lost Idols takes Ancient Egypt and transforms it into a playful physics-driven playground where construction, puzzle solving, and complete disorder regularly collide. Developed by Tomb Team and published by Chilled Mouse, the game approaches its historical setting with comedy rather than realism. Cleopatra’s missing statue pieces provide the basic motivation for the adventure, but the real attraction comes from attempting to control a workforce that has an impressive talent for getting itself into trouble. The result is a lighthearted combination of strategy, environmental puzzles, simulation, and slapstick entertainment. Across more than 20 levels, the player is responsible for directing workers through increasingly hazardous environments while recovering pieces of Cleopatra’s statues. These workers are far from dependable. They can wander into traps, fall victim to environmental dangers, or otherwise turn a sensible plan into a spectacular failure. Instead of feeling like a conventional management game where commands are followed with mechanical precision, the experience encourages constant adjustment. I don't recommend Cleo's Lost Idols because the control is terrible, the game play is silly and there are locked features which require you to pay money.

Графика стильная, с яркими цветами и атмосферными локациями. Геймплей логичный, но некоторые уровни требуют времени на освоение механики. Звуковое сопровождение приятное, добавляющее напряжённости. Keeps on advertising DLC, Bugged achievements and you have to buy some of the DLC to even get to 100%. I would recommend not even adding this game to your profile if you are an achievement hunter. Game is extremely buggy and not fun at all.
