You are a king who must mine gold to grow your kingdom and stop enemies from taking your rock, which apparently comes with an endless supply of gold. All you have to do is mash a button on the rock and occasionally click on enemies that emerge from four caves and move toward it. Defeated enemies drop experience, which eventually grants skill points you can spend later. Although it is a clicker game, there is some sense of threat. In addition to fighting enemies, you must cover production costs at the end of each day. The length of the day is shown by a bar at the top of the screen that steadily decreases. During the first few days, nothing happens if you fail to mine enough gold, but each failed day lowers the people’s patience. Once their patience runs out, the game ends and you have to start over. Mining enough gold each day is fairly easy, and failure usually happens only if you choose to do nothing. When the day ends, you return to the castle to handle a random event. You receive a letter describing a situation that requires your attention and must choose between two options. One costs money, while the other may anger the people, grant you a reward, take something away fr…2 found this helpful

Recommended Played the demo multiple times, and it’s great for a rewarding 2–4 hour loop, with full release saves stretching 6–8 hours. Highlights: Branching upgrades make each build feel unique, adding a lot of replayability. Variety of story and random events ensures every playthrough feels different. Diverse enemy types represent distinct threats that keep gameplay interesting. Full economy, public opinion, and XP systems add depth through decision-making events. Adjustable difficulty lets you tailor the pace and challenge to your preference. Overall, it’s a very enjoyable game that scratches the nostalgia itch for old after-school flash games while offering a more layered and engaging experience.1 found this helpful

Game is super fun and addicting. Played for 4 hours straight without blinking. I do wish that enemy difficulty increased. After a certain threshold, you kind of just win. Love the concept. Love the game1 found this helpful
This is a fun game, played the demo before release, and I did thoroughly enjoy it. That being said, I've come back several months later and it's sad to see that more depth has not been added to the game, which would bring me back for a couple playthroughs at least depending on the material. To the Dev, maybe have some high breakpoints with extremely powerful monsters, things you can build real time as well like temporary barricades, progressive points as you complete playthroughs like +1 gold per second each point achieved or something. You could seriously build much more off this simple addicting game you've made here.
