Cold Cable: Liftshift is a story driven zombie themed first person shooter slapped together with the godawful GameGuru FPS construction kit. Using a poor quality video game construction kit invariably results in a poor quality game, and Cold Cable: Lifeshift is no exception. On the plus side it looks like the "developers" spent a lot of time mucking around with the game templates in GameGuru for this, which is a lot like spending a lot of time in MS-Paint trying to make DooM: Eternal. It's not gonna work, no matter how much time you waste. It's full of GameGuru asset flips. This is like the FPS equivalent of an RPG Maker JRPG fan fic. Putting GameGuru aside and judging this dispassionately on it's own merits, gameplay is sloppy and feels unpolished. Resolution and controls are locked, which drops this below minimum acceptable standards for a video game. I just can't recommend this.3 found this helpful
I play offline, took me 3 days, some hours per day, to finish. With a 1500 games library, something drew me to play it. In short, enjoyed it so much, I wrote a complete walkthrough I´m putting on the Community Hub. Disclosure, I´m 66 years old. Only could finish the game (as so many other games) thanks to cheat engine. Otherwise, I was killed relentlessly, and would have left in despair. Truly loved this game, gameguru warts and all ! The graphics with the above limitation, loved the art, models, places, images. Such a big game, expected something much, much shorter. So much work and planning, kudos. Even the girl voice *smile*. Without it, no english version, so, much appreciated. I´m sure everyone gave their all, I value that love. Thanks Matheus Medeiros and all ! Hope to see more games from you.3 found this helpful
