About Cursor Blast

"Incredible things coming out of Latin America right now" - kenkaioh (NRZGAMES)
  • CURSOR BLAST is a SPACE SHOOTER in the style of old school SHMUPs with spaceships, heavily inspired by those from the Nintendo and Super Nintendo.
  • IT'S A TRIBUTE TO THE GAMES OF THE 90'S, TO THE BOOTLEG GAMES OF THE 90'S, WHERE ONE GAME WAS RELEASED AND A THOUSANDS OF SIMILAR GAMES CAME WITH IT.
  • Play to infinity and beyond, want to play 5 minutes? Make yourself comfortable. Want to play 60 hours in a row? Feel free too, if you can stay alive with your ship by then.
  • YOU ARE A SPACE SHOOTER THAT, IN ORDER TO SURVIVE HUGE HOARDS OF ENEMIES, NEEDS TO SHOOT AND AIM WITH THE MOUSE INSTEAD OF STRAIGHT SHOTS.
  • YOUR COMFORT OF JUST PASSING IN FRONT OF THEM TO HIT THEM IS OVER, YOU'RE DRIVING, SO YOU AIM TO HIT THE ENEMIES.
  • Use your stylish movement skills to stay mobile and avoid the relentless attacks of the most varied enemies. Aim with your mouse and take advantage of the non-linear aiming!!!
  • ALL GAME IMPROVEMENTS ARE CHOSEN BY CARDS AFTER THE END OF A WORD.
  • INFINITE STAGES PASSING THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE GALACTIC STATE, HELL IS HEAVEN COMPARED TO QUANTITY!
  • LIVE AS LONG AS YOU CAN! CARDS HAVE RARITY! POSSIBLE NEW POST-LAUNCH MODES PLANNED ACCORDING TO NEXT UPDATES;
  • EAT A BIG STEAK AND DRINK  SUGAR CANE JUICE WHILE PLAYING THIS WONDER!
  • PLAY THE GAME WITH ALL YOU CAN, WHO KNOWS YOU MAY GET THE PLATINUM ONE DAY, WHO KNOWS!

Simple and basic shooter where you can get too powerful very fast, but frequent crashes and broken achievements spoil a lot. The gameplay is simple. You control a spaceship that moves freely across the screen, dodging enemies and their projectiles while shooting back. Enemies approach from the top and vanish once they reach the bottom, but you can fly and fire in any direction since your crosshair follows your mouse cursor. The main goal is to survive each wave by eliminating all foes. If an enemy slips past you, it simply reappears at the top and dives down again. As you advance, waves become faster and more crowded, filling the screen with more opponents and bullets to avoid. Fortunately, your ship can take a few hits, giving you some margin for error. After completing a wave, you’re offered a random selection of four upgrade cards, from which you can choose one. These cards provide bonuses like health recovery, increased fire rate, score multipliers, and other perks. Because the selection is random, you might see duplicate options, which can feel redundant. Cards also vary in rarity, common, rare, and so on, and powerful ones are immediately recognizable. Some of the best up…
