Really fun and gory choose-your-own adventure like Road to Empress or Until Dawn. I recommend inviting friends over, having a few drinks and playing it together while heckling and arguing over the choices!1 found this helpful
A hilariously morbid experience! (Sorry, Cole!) Dead Reset takes its title literally, and dying is actually the best part. I had way too much fun seeing Cole die again and again just to get the achievements I wanted (sorry, Cole, lol). When you die, the game resets, letting you choose and collect different, creative, and hilarious death scenes. The gore level is perfectly satisfying, too! My only complaint is the narrative. While what's there is solid, the story is just too short and lacks depth. I really wish it was longer and more fleshed out.1 found this helpful
If you played Black Mirror: Bandersnatch you will know what to expect from this. It's a B-movie horror like movie-game. While playing, I was wondering if choices matter, and they do. I had fun.
Overall Rating: 8/10 - Amazingly well done game, well thought out story, and was super fun to play. The acting can get a bit "readable" and sometimes a bit corny, but overall the experience was still very well worth it. Fun game, do recommend.
I want to like this. I really do. After learning what their budget was, I have to give props. But that still doesn't mean it's an experience worth playing. Acting is stiff, characters are uninteresting, and the monster is never believable for even a second.
Decent production value. The actors were great. The script was engrossing. The choices were interesting.
