What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's cute aesthetic, charming atmosphere, and solid core concept that works well for a free experience, though many note it's quite short and best enjoyed on a controller rather than keyboard. Common complaints include poor keyboard controls, very brief playtime (around 10 minutes), floaty platforming mechanics that allow skipping sections, pointless stealth elements, and performance issues on some systems, though several players express hope the developers will expand it into a fuller game.
Cute little game! Great that it is free. Great concept and great execution. It took me a little bit to get the controls down even after finding the guide for keyboard. I agree that it would be easier to play with a controller. I wish there was an option to close the game or have it be windowed. Other than keybindings and no exit while playing the game, I have no complaints. This would be super cool to see it turned into and larger series with more nights and more adventures and possibly more characters. If so, it would totally have my support! Nice little project, I recommend.1 found this helpful
If you are up for something short, cute and love dream-worlds, then I can recommend this sweet experience to you! Even children can play it without any second thoughts (except if they are too scared by the shadow creatures at night). The keyboard controls did feel awful to me though to be honest, therefore I would suggest to stick to a controller instead.
Worth a play but certainly not very memorable
Extreme unplayable performance issues with a GTX 970 and a R5 5500. I acknowledge it's a fairly old GPU but the system requirements are for a Nvidia GTX 900+ or equivalent.
Cons: Game can be beaten in around 10 minutes. Stealth is pointless, you can just stun the enemies and run past them. Platforming is alright, not being able to move the camera is an issue and the jumping is so floaty you can skip entire sections. Character's face looks like a 40 year old man. Pros Nice atmosphere Comfortable art style Being able to clamber around the environment is fun 6/10 A nice beginning that I'm sure the devs will look back on fondly, however the experience is very short and needs it's flaws to be ironed out. If they fix these issues and turn it into a full game I will happily buy it.
I liked the combination of stealth, and platforming; the gameloop felt good! It's lovely, and omg that's the cutest hat ever! UwU <3
