The fact that you can just clip outside of the whole house and fall forever without any way to restart your game that doesn't involve having to completely exit out of it (or in my case ctrl+alt+deleting out) should be reason enough not to get this game. But if you need more reasons: The controls are hard to understand, which makes solving the puzzle difficult as it involves picking things up and reading them, but you're never told which buttons to use in order to both pick up and examine items. The flashlight sucks and doesn't light things very well. The batteries suck and not only do you need several of them to even keep the flashlight going, but how bright the flashlight is depends on how many batteries you have in it. And the batteries run out super quick so prepare to constantly be unable to see things very well. The jumpscares aren't scary because they're unsettling or alert you to any danger, they're scary because you don't expect them and are just loud noises that play when you enter a room, but they get annoying and boring after a while because they don't really contribute anything to the overall atmosphere aside from to remind you "this house be spooky". All of this…

Got this game on sale for 59 cents, and since it was a new indie horror game I thought I'd give it a go. Sadly it was a mistake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0qG0AUIvyc I got a video on this game on my channel that you can check out. Let's just say for one the flashlight was awful, the scares weren't scary at all, I was on a key hunt, and I ran into a bug towards the end of the game where I could walk through walls and I fell through the map... So you might want to work on a patch to fix that bug. Obviously though, this wasn't the worse thing I ever played but it wasn't great either. It was still bad but it could've been a lot worse. I did find some sort of entertainment out of it though, like with the guy playing the piano who turned around real fast and vanished. That was hilarious haha.

Don't know why it's hated that much. I've had the best 23 minutes of my life while being drunk as f***. I don't even remember the story, but I think I met Putin somewhere ingame. Unfortunately he used Goku's instant transmission to gtfo and I kinda was sad. Story 10/10 Putin 14/10 Would drink again.
