Love this game. It's clearly drawing inspiration from FFXI (the old school mmo) which is one of my favourite games. There is quite a few classes to choose from, in addition you can unlock more classes as you play the game. There are optional bosses you can find, that drop actually unique gear. The well-crafted story keeps you emotionally invested in the characters. The game is quite a bit challenging at start, but it makes it all the better once you figure things out.3 found this helpful
I heavily recommend Ebonside for ANYONE who is looking for either an older style graphic RPG or an RPG in general really. While it says my hours are only 6.1, I have put a lot more into it before it was released as I was apart of testing, and I can say with certainty, the game has come a LONG way. Every bug I've seen reported (or have reported myself) I've seen them work on and fix and I can attest to the fact that they genuinely care about their games. The team worked very hard on this along side The Diamondstorm and I'm looking forward to what they will be working on next.
If you have not already, please do play through EbonSide. It does need bug fixes here and there, but that is okay, those can be fixed if they are pointed out (as a game developer, bugs can go overlooked or not encountered, giving us that info of how you encountered the bug helps us fix it), that and it has a good story as well as game play (it is an RPG similar to Final Fantasy once was, so do keep that in mind)
