Pick your nation and outfit your boxer with a variety of different punchcard abilities, league belts and robot parts of which can possess different behavioural characteristics or effect your speed, strength, endurance.Your loyal crew stationed on the backside of your fighter will do their best to pilot and execute basic attacks. You'll be tasked to manage their input, replenish system resources, apply strategic dodges and load and activating abilities by completing light rhythm tapping challenges synced with music beats.Components of your robot are likely to succumb to the heavy hits of your opponent and eventually break. Fortunately repairs can be applied between round breaks. So too will any crew members dazed from battle recover during a round break, restoring their role specific perks they provide (Captain, Driver, Arms or Systems). With depletion of systems health comes a countdown, giving the downed robot 10 seconds to reboot or lose the match. In career mode you'll navigate through a series of daily manager events that earn you resources to unlock new robot parts, robot abilities and passive crew skills. Welcome to Emprum Stadium, host of the Electro Bop boxing league!

A really fun and rather unique take on a rhythm game. Something I had quite a bit of fun with and definitely suggest you check out if you're interested.

Yes. Everything about this one oozes style. Try out the demo and if the music and sight of giant robots with scientists hanging on for dear life doesn't sell you, well, then there's no accounting for taste. For a rhythm game, there isn't enough variety in music, but there are some nice gradual upgrades to your crew, to different robot parts, and to available skills from which you can choose four and which contain some combo skills as well.

Not for me. Pretty, nice vibes and fx. About it imo. It's like Shadow of the Beast with less gameplay. Ymmv, but i don't enjoy it at all.

The gameplay is for me to look at the bottom left of the screen and click endlessly, I'm just not quick enough at multitasking not to. I don't get to see the fights if I want to win, and I'm not good enough at rhythm games not to. The aesthetic is fine enough, but I feel the gameplay could be much improved if the section I as the player needed to focus on was expanded in some way to the rest of the screen. Maybe a skill issue on my end.

A audibly and visually pleasing rhythm game even for people who aren't great at rhythm games.

Supremely unfinished, Dev dropped brew barons, another unfinished game, for this and also did not finish it. I get that some devs want a change in pace but I feel like they could have spent more time on both games to give them more of a fleshed out design. The voice acting is terrible as in annoying and probably not needed as you can just read what they say. The fights are also weird to say the least. They demand a lot of attention but it gets so bad that if you miss one thing it completely ruins the fight so you MUST pay attention or fail the fight. But even then the fights are completely random. Even if you fight "harder" opponents, they don't even pose a challenge if you just close the game and reopen it. I had one guy that was destroying me in the first round but when I restarted my game he was easier than the tutorial enemy. The abilities are also not so interesting as the ones that help are just the mines and the punches. The rest are just filler. In my opinion, they should have just added this to brew barons as a DLC since they share the same art style and brew barons is also unfinished.
