Story
In the world you live in, humanity lives in fear of the demons.
9 heroes headed to the Demon Fortress in order to defeat the Demon King.
The heroes have not been heard from since.
The world will be swallowed by darkness if nothing is done.
One day, your 'Communication Crystal' rings.
In the crystal ball, you see... the heroes who were thought to be dead!
"Finally! It's connected! We've been confined in the Demon Fortress's prison! Please, can you save us? We've found this..."
What the weakened heroes revealed was a map of the prison along with a note with cryptic puzzles.
As the 'Puzzle Solving Hero' you start working right away!
Will you be able to solve all the puzzles within the Demon Fortress, save the heroes, and bring peace to the world?
Game Style
In this game, you will become a Puzzle Solving Hero and work remotely with the 9 captured heroes.
Watch a series of videos, listen carefully to the heroes' conversations, solve all the puzzles, and discover the mystery of the Demon Fortress!

You get to play the first day of the game and solve a few very simple puzzles... Then it asks you to pay to continue the next day and the ending is separate and absurdly priced. No I don't recommend any game where the actual game is locked behind overpriced DLC. Its also not very fun to play.2 found this helpful
It's very fun, the puzzles get progressively harder and the game has a nice 90s vibe, with an 8-bit background. The story is really interesting, with a nice plot twist. The characters reminded me of Dragon Quest. The input system is clever and easy to use. Recommended for escape room fan.1 found this helpful
"Escape from the Lockdown: The Demon Fortress (Steam Version) - Day 1" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Escape from the Lockdown: The Demon Fortress". Escape from the Lockdown: The Demon Fortress is the absurdly priced DLC attached to this demo/advert... I'm not kidding, to actually play this game it costs you TWENTY NINE UNITED STATES DOLLARS, you have to buy all the DLC. Now, some games are worth even more than thirty bucks, but this is a crappy mobile app (that presumably got rejected by app stores, but the promotional videos feature some dude playing it on a phone). And wow, yes, FMV is welcome in games, but only when people can act. The video quality is atrocious. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Escape from the Lockdown: The Demon Fortress, it's just an advertisment for it, the full game is DLC paygated, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It'…
