It's free, and with that, it's a mostly well-crafted and attractive game. However, it's punishing af out the gate, which may be an immediate deterrent for some players. It's pretty simple to grasp but painfully difficult to master.

Very Hard. This is no understatement. This game is going to take you multiple attempts. Very simple, but Very Hard. I recommend trying it, but if you do find it too challenging just move on. It only took me an hour to beat the game, so if you can survive a brutal hour go for it. Don't let this game being hard stir you away from it. The game is fun by making you be quick on your feet while traversing through confusing mazes, and making you use a gun only in precious moments when it needs to be used. There are currently only 3 unique gun mechanics in the game that you receive. One on the first mission, two on the second, and three on the third. I'm not sure if more gun mechanics will be added, but currently the developer is working on other games and has stated he intends to come back to this game. I'm excited to see more for the hard challenge that awaits. Now this game is likely going to be only two chapters as the developer tends to make a remake . I would like to see all 13 chapters the developer says he intends to do.

I do and do not recommend this game. First, why do I not recommend it? The game description does say the game is fast-paced and indeed it is. For my tastes, too fast paced. You get 3 lives and it's VERY easy to lose them quite quickly. I did not play very long quite simply because the difficulty is too high for my taste. Why do I recommend it, and why didn't I give it the "thumbs down"? The graphics are nice, the actual gameplay mechanics are good, the game is responsive. I cannot fault the game other than the difficulty level, and it's a small download and free so there's really no risk in trying it out. From a technical standpoint, I have nothing to note; I ran it on an Ubuntu 22.04 desktop with Coffee Lake i7-8700k CPU and Nvidia GTX1650, CPU usage was very low and frame rate was very good on default 'Ultra' settings. From the performance on there I expect it'd run very well on Steam Deck. I suspect it'll run on anything down to a true potato, that it's claimed minimums of a Core 2 Duo and Gefroce 510 (~14 year old GPU) are probably spot on.
