王异工坊FanCraft

王异工坊FanCraft is a very small action game that throws together fighting, roguelike progression and anime style characters. I go into a series of randomly changing battles where I have to fight enemies, avoid traps and pick up different skills, weapons and equipment as I go. The whole thing feels like a compact experiment rather than a huge finished game, but I actually like that it gets to the fighting very quickly. I am not spending ages reading through systems before I can start doing something. The combat is the main reason I would keep playing. Each run can give me different abilities and equipment, so I have to make decisions based on what I find instead of following one fixed build every time. The enemies and situations can change from run to run, which gives me a reason to try another attempt even after I get defeated. I also like that the game has traps mixed into the levels because it stops every room from being nothing but me hitting enemies until they disappear. The character progression is simple, but it gives the runs some purpose. I can improve my character as I go and build around the skills and weapons that I find.
