"First Person Shooter Kit Showcase" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "First Person Shooter Kit". First Person Shooter Kit is FPSK is an Unreal/Epic Fab asset pack designed to allow talentless developers to dump garbage asset flips onto Steam and make gaming worse for everyone. Yep, that's right, the developer behind this advertisement is going out of his way to make gaming worse for everyone by encouraging shovelware and asset flips on Steam. Jesus wept. Here's the asset pack in case you don't believe me: https://www.fab.com/listings/635c2e04-ff0c-41c2-ad85-0a64d6f5e6de But this isn't completely relevant because this is not First Person Shooter Kit, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. Игра 'First Person Shooter Kit Showcase' - занимательная демонстрация возможностей движка Unity в создании шутера от первого лица. Это скорее интерактивная витрина, чем полноценная игра. Тут можно пострелять из разного оружия, побегать по небольшим локациям и оценить физику и реализацию механик FPS. Что понравилось: разнообразие оружия, неплохая детализация окружения (учитывая масштабы проекта), и в целом понятная реализация базовых механик стрельбы. Видно, что это хороший старт для изучения Unity и создания своей FPS игры. Что можно улучшить: немного не хватает "полировки". Анимации могли быть более плавными, AI противников - более умным (хотя это и не основной фокус). В любом случае, для ознакомления с инструментарием и вдохновения - отличный вариант. Рекомендую начинающим разработчикам!
