Following the changes introduced in v1.1.0, I am updating this review with my updated impressions: With the scoring system rebalanced, I finally find the game fun! I now can get reasonably good results quicker, and got to experience further tracks and cars - turns out that the first track is quite difficult, and the later ones are considerably more interesting and easier. The AI still doesn't wait for the player if they fall behind, but this is obviously not something that could be fixed in one day (between my original review and the release of v1.1.0). Following these changes, I'm changing my review from negative to "positive, given the game's low price". Thank you for listening to feedback! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Original v1.0.0 review below: At the first glance, this is quite a cool indie. The handling is really good, much better than I expected at first, and turns out it's well tuned for long, easy drifts. The photo mode rocks! The car roster and customization is impressive! However, I can't experience most of it for one single reason - scoring, and this is also the only reason why I'm leaving a negative revie…8 found this helpful
EDIT: The 1.1 update fixed my major critiques! Controller support is improved (you can now navigate menus with controller) and most importantly the scoring changes feel really nice. You no longer lose your whole score for making a mistake or straightening too long, and the score needed to progress feels right in line with where it should be IMO. You still need to put down a decent run to progress, and a great run to get 3 stars. I feel like this is a fun little experience for the price now. __Original Review__ Wanted to give this a shot because of the nice looking customization, "chill" advertising and light "art of rally" vibes (and low price!) There's some fun customization to be had, a cool endless mode, a photo mode is always nice and the presentation is overall solid enough - although I do feel like the environments could use more love/detail/focus. (The first level feels like wild west but also Egypt with pyramids? and the track is just a repeated squiggly line, not very dynamic or unique. Later tracks also feel similar.) The handling is fine too, it takes some getting used to and feels punishing if you drift with too much angle but it works well for lo…6 found this helpful
Simple, fun, and totally worth the price. The gameplay is easy to get into but still really enjoyable. Some of the maps look absolutely beautiful, and the car customization is nearly perfect. Overall, I’d rate this game a solid 9.5/10. Highly recommended.1 found this helpful
FLOW is a relaxed, style-forward driving experience that deliberately steps away from the competitive conventions of racing games and instead focuses on rhythm, control, and the pleasure of motion. Developed and published by Nulis Interactive, the game frames drifting not as a test of speed or lap efficiency, but as a meditative act where smooth inputs and consistent flow matter more than beating a clock. From the first moments behind the wheel, it becomes clear that FLOW is designed to be savored at your own pace, offering an experience that feels closer to a driving meditation than a traditional motorsport challenge. The core structure of the game revolves around a distinctive two-part approach that alternates between freedom and precision. In the initial phase, you are encouraged to drive intuitively, carving lines through winding roads and experimenting with how your car responds to corners, elevation changes, and long curves. There is no external pressure pushing you forward, which allows you to focus purely on maintaining momentum and balance through each drift. This sense of creative control is then contrasted by a follow-up phase where you attempt to mirror an idealized dr…1 found this helpful
I love this game so much! Its so relaxing to just vibe to music in endless mode! -the customization is pretty in depth so you can get that perfect feel to the car -the physics are nice, I can feel the exact breakpoint of my drift -its cute! the only gripe i have is that there's not enough tiles in endless mode so you memorize all the turns quickly. I'd drool for an editor that lets you stack your own tiles into the pool Thank you for making this wonderful game!
not a drift person but a nice relaxing game once you get the hang of not spinning ever other turn! need more tracks! great customization worth the price!
